RATES
Edge to Edge Price
I charge 2.25 cents per square inch for all designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches.
60 x 80 = 4800 x .0225 = $108.

My minimum quilting charge is $40. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $40 minimum.

Trimming is complementary and included in my E2E price. (trimming is always optional)

Batting
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.

I use and stock rolls my favorite Quilters Dream batting and Hobbs batting.

I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.

Not sure what kind of batting to choose? I can help!

-100% Cotton: Select Loft, the most popular. Soft and breathable and perfect for mid-weight quilts. My go-to for versatile quilts.

-Bamboo: My personal favorite! The SOFTEST batting with a luxurious drape. Made with an elegant blend of bamboo, silk, Tencel and cotton.

-Hobbs 80/20: A blend of cotton and polyester with a scrim base that adds stability for heavy use. Perfect for utility quilts and kid quilts!

-Wool: Lightweight, yet warm and lofty batting. â…“”-½” Loft really makes the quilting designs pop! This cozy batting is perfect for cuddly winter quilts. Not recommended for drying with heat (can cause stiffness in the quilt). Absolutely no ironing. Air-dry only.

-Polyester: Needle punched (without scrim) to mimic the softness of cotton. Does not shrink after washing and crease resistant after folding. Not as breathable as cotton, but a very budget friendly option.

If you'd like any additional information on other Quilters Dream batting types, let me know!

Bag Panels and Foam:

Elevate your next bag with an edge to edge design! I can quilt right on Soft and Stable or foam. I sell Soft and Stable or Pellon F76 foam to be quilted. The edge to edge price is the same as a quilt. Foam is not included in the per inch price. The minimum E2E fee for a bag panel is $25. Tax must be applied to all foam sales.

-1/2yd Soft and Stable (18" x 58") $11.50
-1yd Soft and Stable (36" x 58") $18.50
-2yds Soft and Stable (72" x 58") $37.00
-Pellon F76 (20" wide) $3.85/yd

Binding:
I will machine bind your quilt for $0.15 cents per linear inch. I offer machine binding services by stitching to the back first, then topstitching on the front. Need your binding prepped? I can cut, piece and prep your binding for a $10 flat fee. Wouldn't it be magical to bring home a completed, ready to snuggle quilt!?
Thread
I stock Glide 40wt and some Omni 40wt threads. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price.
I can choose the thread color for you or I can offer suggestions and we can choose together. I will usually suggest a color that blends with the background or lighter areas of your quilt top. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Shipping
I live in Arizona, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly. Please complete the intake form prior to mailing.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Shipping costs will be added to your invoice. Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Referrals
Referrals are the heart of my business! I am so appreciative any time you recommend me for longarm services. As a token of my appreciation, you will receive FREE BATTING on your next quilt when your name is mentioned on the intake form!
*Available batting options: 100% Cotton, 80/20 or Bamboo (subject to change).
Please redeem within 6 months.
